Specification Details for Power Fan Units
When ordering any wood hood or mantle wood hood,
it is the dealer’s responsibility to
verify all fire codes in your area
(fire codes vary from state to state and even from city
to city). Hoods should be installed at a proper level over the range and installer should
account for any special needs for cook tops and grills. Be sure to match hood liner width
to ensure proper ventilation. Please note that these are only recommendations and you
should always reference local building codes, fire codes and manufacturer specifications
for final design/applications. Recommended distance from top of cooking surface to
bottom of fan unit is 27”-30” depending on manufacturer range specifications and depth
of cabinets. If installed beyond recommended distance, the fan unit will not perform
effectively.
